I wondered if there could be an actual chemical causing the massive obesity epidemic, so did a friend of mine, John Erb. He was a research assistant at the University of Waterloo, and spent years working for the government.
He made an amazing discovery while going through scientific journals for a book he was writing called The Slow Poisoning of America. In hundreds of studies around the world, scientists were creating obese mice and rats to use in diet or diabetes test studies.
No strain of rat or mice is naturally obese, so the scientists have to create them. They make these morbidly obese creatures by injecting them with a chemical when they are first born. The MSG triples the amount of insulin the pancreas creates, causing rats (and humans?) to become obese They even have a title for the race of fat rodents they create: "MSG-Treated Rats" .
MSG?
I was shocked too. I went to my kitchen, checking the cupboards and the fridge.
MSG was in everything! The Campbell's soups, the Hostess Doritos, the Lays flavored potato chips, Top Ramen, Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper, Heinz canned gravy, Swanson frozen prepared meals, Kraft salad dressings, especially the 'healthy low fat' ones. The items that didn't have MSG had something called Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, which is just another name for Monosodium Glutamate. It was shocking to see just how many of the foods we feed our children everyday are filled with this stuff. They hide MSG under many different names in order to fool those who catch on.
But it didn't stop there. When our family went out to eat, we started asking at the restaurants what menu items had MSG. Many employees, even the managers, swore they didn't use MSG. But when we ask for the ingredient list, which they grudgingly provided, sure enough MSG and Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein were everywhere. Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy's, Taco Bell, every restaurant, even the sit down ones like TGIF, Chilis', Applebees and Denny's use MSG in abundance. Kentucky Fried Chicken seemed to be the WORST offender: MSG was in every chicken dish, salad dressing and gravy. No wonder I loved to eat that coating on the skin, their secret spice was MSG!
So why is MSG in so may of the foods we eat? Is it a preservative or a vitamin?
Not according to my friend John. In the book he wrote, an expose of the food additive industry called The Slow Poisoning of America, (www.spofamerica.com ), he said that MSG is added to food for the addictive effect it has on the human body.
Even the propaganda website sponsored by the food manufacturers lobby group supporting MSG at http://www.msgfacts.com/facts/msgfact12.html explains that the reason they add it to food is to make people eat more. A study of elderly people showed that people eat more of the foods that it is added to. The Glutamate Association lobby group says eating more benefits the elderly, but what does it do to the rest of us?
'Betcha can't eat just one', takes on a whole new meaning where MSG is concerned!
And we wonder why the nation is overweight? The MSG manufacturers themselves admit that it addicts people to their products. It makes people choose their product over others, and makes people eat more of it than they would if MSG wasn't added.
Not only is MSG scientifically proven to cause obesity, it is an addictive substance: NICOTINE for FOOD!
Since its introduction into the American food supply fifty years ago, MSG has been added in larger and larger doses to the prepackaged meals, soups, snacks and fast foods we are tempted to eat everyday.
The FDA has set no limits on how much of it can be added to food. They claim it's safe to eat in any amount.
How can they claim it is safe when there are hundreds of scientific studies with titles like these?

Yes, that last study was not a typo, it WAS written in 1978. Both the medical research community and food "manufaturers" have known MSG's side effects for decades!

Migraines and headaches, Autism, ADHD and even Alzheimer's.
But what can we do to stop the food manufactures from dumping fattening and addictive MSG into our food supply and causing the obesity epidemic we now see?
Even as you read this, George W. Bush and his corporate supporters are pushing a Bill through Congress. Called the "Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act" also known as the "Cheeseburger Bill", this sweeping law bans anyone from suing food manufacturers, sellers and distributors. The Bill has already been rushed through the House of Representatives, and is due for the same rubber stamp at Senate level. It is important that Bush and his corporate supporters get it through before the media lets everyone know about MSG, the intentional Nicotine for food.
Several months ago, John Erb took his book and his concerns to one of the highest government health officials in Canada. While sitting in the Government office, the official told him "Sure I know how bad MSG is, I wouldn't touch the stuff!" But this top level government official refused to tell the public what he knew.
The big media doesn't want to tell the public either, fearing legal issues with their advertisers. It seems that the fallout on the fast food industry may hurt their profit margin.
So what do we do?
The food producers and restaurants have been addicting us to their products for years, and now we are paying the price for it.
Our children should not be cursed with obesity caused by an addictive food additive.
But what can I do about it? I'm just one voice, what can I do to stop the poisoning of our children, while guys like Bush are insuring financial protection for the industry that is poisoning us.
I for one am doing something about it.
I am sending this email out to everyone I know in an attempt to show you the truth that the corporate owned politicians and media won't tell you.
The best way you can help save yourself and your children from this drug-induced epidemic, is to forward this email to everyone. With any luck, it will circle the globe before Bush can pass the Bill protecting those who poisoned us.
The food industry learned a lot from the tobacco industry. Imagine if big tobacco had a bill like this in place before someone blew the whistle on Nicotine?

What if someone were to tell you that a chemical (MSG) added to food could cause brain damage in your children, and that this chemical could effect how your children's nervous systems formed during development so that in later years they may have learning or emotional difficulties?

I have the following opinion to share with everyone on these three matters –
Ø CODEX,
Ø the Trilateral Cooperation Charter, and
Ø FDA push for CAM regulatory control over state's rights.

In my opinion, what is at stake here is:
(A) Compounding pharmacy authority in interstate commerce (FDA à CAM authority push);
(B) CAM practices standards of care, i.e., CAM procedures (also the FDA à CAM authority push); and
(C) OTC health products (Trilateral Cooperation Charter - the new strategy to integrate CODEX into the U.S.); and
(D) The suppression of CAM via strategic use of the Daubert Standard.

Thus, this is a quadruple frontal assault coming at us all at once.

The problem is not, therefore, limited to the one area IAHF states below (FDA Trilateral Cooperation Charter), or for that matter, that of NSF either. It is both. And both relate not so much as to “actual law” initially, but rather the problem is the "rule promulgating authority" of the FDA. DSHEA would only exert itself on the very back-end in court and on one front only – that is, (C) above). This “rule promulgating authority” has always been the venue in which the FDA plays havoc on many fronts at once. Thus, both the efforts being looked at by IAHF as well as NSF should be addressed.

It does not matter what the law says, the rule promulgating authority enables the FDA's use of unlimited tax payer's monies to go after A, B & C above – e.g., CAM individuals (typically manufacturers) in alliance with state medical board authorities (who first identify and then go after the individual physicians). Thus, they create a one-two-three punch, going after all sources of undesirables from all ends possible, hurting them financially well before they have their day in court. The strategy is merely to drain their resolve and finances, forcing a consent decree to be signed by the party under financial duress.

The issue is that CAM practices and CAM standards of care are currently governed by state law - not federal, which exempts CAM practice strategies from established medicine's "standards of care" definitions as well as FDA authority. IN the past, this has been the key legal strategy to go after CAM practices – that is – that they have violated established medicine’s standards of care with their peers (peers meaning conventional practitioners only, as represented on the State medical board).

To complicate matters, the FDA has successfully over the past 4 years inserted their "bought and paid for administrators" at the National Council on Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) as the authoritative body on just what CAM practices should and should not be approved for in the eyes of many in Congress. This sets up a significant court strategy in light of the circa 1993 DuPont Breast Implant Supreme Court ruling (I think this is now known as the Daubert Standard – see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daubert_Standard) – wherein expert testimony would be superceded by peer-review publications, the kind now underway via NIH, NCI in conjunction with NCCAM on just what is and is not valid CAM practices.

In the past, state medical boards go directly to the FDA for guidance, and with the FDA supplied ammo have been able to take the licenses of CAM practitioners, or shut them down from CAM practices easily in states not protected byCAM statutes. But with the recent victories of states' rights over this FDA/state medical board alliance, something new had to come into play to re-empower the original "Inquisition" team.

What we are seeing is the new strategy at work on multiple fronts.

Thus in conjunction with the FSBME directive with the local state medical boards, the Feds with their NCCAM "authorities" can weigh in indiscriminately, utilizing with precision the direct targeting arm of the state medical board, and go after interstate commerce products being shipped into CAM practices, plus the individual CAM practice simultaneously. Thus, the FEDS may both regulate the procedure at arms length as well as the illegal/non-approved use of any CAM product treating disease at finger length. The final touch is tat their "media/press" efforts are therefore so bolstered as well.

In many if not most cases they know that if it were to come to a full court press they would lose in those CAM protected states, but they also know they can bankrupt most CAM practices if they go after them one at a time, especially if they foist the notion that the NCCAM has disavowed a CAM procedure. Most physicians do not have enough cash reserves to win the battle of unlimited funds against them, nor do most CAM manufacturers.

Thus, the FSMBE and the FDA know they can easily win in most cases by hard threats against the medical practice by simply promulgating rules (not law), in conjunction with the state medical board. Then the state medical board forces the bluff upon the physician to sign a consent decree, not knowing any better, and they effectively shut down CAM procedures in a CAM protected state.

So, it boils down to (1) Established Medicine's standards of care verses CAM standards of care, plus (2) the CODEX, plus (3) the Trilateral Cooperation Charter - three active fronts.

If the FDA gains the CAM regulatory authority, it may well effectively negate or supercede the hard won CAM state statutes now in place in 15 states in my opinion. And with the Daubert principle in effect and the publications being created by NCCAM, Fed rights may be likely to supercede State’s rights.

Due to Corsi's article on April 4th, IAHF had the largest single day surge
of signings (430) on our petition calling for Congressional oversight on FDA's
Trilateral Cooperation Charter.

The very next day (April 5th) only 75 people signed our petition.
What curtailed the flow of people to our petition?

On April 5th, the (so called) Natural Solutions Foundation generated a spin
piece intended to scare the hell out of the vitamin consuming public and to con
huge numbers of people to go into a frenzy of forwarding their (phony) alert
about an FDA Guidance Document. Here is the spin NSF puts on their website
which was so successful in distracting people from the REAL threat of the FDA
Trilateral Cooperation Charter, by focusing peoples attention on a non existent

FDA Guidance Documents can't change existing law, and this one is no

In the Guidance document, the FDA doesn't say anything new about the
regulation of dietary supplements that we haven't known since passage of the Dietary
Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. They plainly state that regulation
of a dietary supplement would depend on labeling and intended use- DSHEA has
never allowed medicinal claims to be made on any product, and this Guidance
document doesn't change existing law- contrary to what NSF would have you
believe- the sky is NOT falling!

On May 1, you'll be able to go into any health food store in America and buy
whatever products you're buying now (!!)

NSF's purpose, and timing on this NONSENSE appears to have been to DISTRACT
people from the VERY REAL threat of the FDA's Trilateral Cooperation Charter
wherein the FDA is illegally harmonizing our food and drug regulations with
Canada and Mexico, and under which FDA has adopted the overly broad Canadian
definition of "Health Fraud" (where even WATER becomes a "Drug"), and under which
the FDA has already engaged in at least 730 compliance actions against dietary
supplement manufacturers manufacturing weight loss products (as if a North
American Union were already in existence despite the complete absence of any
implementing legislation that would make their actions legal.)

Thus, NSF appears to be attempting to DELIBERATELY DISTRACT dietary
supplement consumers from a REAL threat, by trying to distract us using the most
scurrulous form of SPIN in an effort to try to DEPICT an ordinary FDA Guidance
Document as a presumed "Threat" when it in FACT is NOT!!

WHY WOULD NSF DO THIS???

If you were among the world's ruling elite, and you wanted to impose a North
American Union on the American people by deconstructing our country, you would
want to try to NEUTRALIZE any person or group that was making the connection
between the Codex vitamin issue and regional harmonization because you would
be afraid that such a person or group MIGHT SUCCEED in arousing the SLEEPING
GIANT- the Millions of Americans who generated the largest flood of letters to
congress in this HISTORY of Congress on ANY issue during the campaign to pass
the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA), to get them to
pressure congress to STOP the North American Union!

You would be afraid that such a person or group MIGHT be able to overcome the
spin coming from the pharma dominated vitamin trade associations on the Codex

calling the Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee in large enough numbers
that they'd HAVE to hold oversight hearings on not only the FDA's Trilateral

controlled opposition group. The PURPOSE of such a group would be to attempt
to APPEAR as the most knowledgable organization on the Codex issue- ie- "the
group to follow", but the group would slickly generate a constant stream of
spin, and disinformation in order to try to STEER the grass roots into a
combination of DEAD ENDS and DISTRACTIONS so as to HIJACK the health freedom movement-
to KEEP the movement from successfully defending America's sovereignty
knowing that Codex is being ushered in via Regional Harmonization.

Can you think of a better couple to perpetuate this disinformation than a
retired Army Major General, the Director of Army Intelligence whose reports went

as the Delphi Technique, the Semantic Differential, and many others. As a
specialist in the area of Military Intelligence, Stubblebine was professionally
trained in the art of deception.

Ever since NSF has entered our movement, they've been generating spin against
the message of IAHF and Allied groups. When CAFTA was moving through Congress
we recognized that it would rope us more into Codex due to the SPS (Sanitary
Phytosanitary Measures) language it contains which is found identically in
NAFTA, WTO, and CODEX. We recognized that CAFTA would result in an expansion of
the disastrous policies of NAFTA to further undermine our National Sovereignty
so IAHF and Allied Groups launched a campaign to try to kill it.

We were COUNTERED however by no less than SEVEN spin pieces from Rima Laibow

DISSONANCE so that people would hear OUR message, then THEIR conflicting message,
and in the CONFUSION, they'd then sit on their HANDS and not call Congress in

IS A VARIATION ON THIS SAME THEME BEING PLAYED OUT AGAIN?

It sure seems that way to me. Since the latest "Rima Eruption" numerous
misguided people and publications including Mike Adams of News Target, Jeff Rense,
the Price Pottenger Foundation, Jenny Thompson of Health Sciences Institute,
Joyce Riley of the Power Hour Radio Show, and Ed Griffin of Freedom Force
International made the mistake of FORWARDING her spin, wholly without grasping what
is going on.

Suddenly, this "Chicken Little" scenario started taking on a LIFE OF ITS OWN
in cyberspace. The "Blogosphere" was buzzing with the phony "News", and the
number of signatures on the Petition calling for Congressional Oversight on the
Trilateral Coopertion Charter fell off- never again have we had another day
like April 4th when the World Net Daily article appeared on the web because our
GENUINE news had been pushed aside by this carefully conducted SPIN campaign.

It is ESSENTIAL that you educate everyone you know to the following KEY FACTS

1. The European Union was originally planned by the Nazi High Command in the

PHONE SCRIPT AGAINST FDA TRILATERAL COOPERATION CHARTER

I support International Advocates for Health Freedom's efforts to get
oversight on the FDA's Trilateral Cooperation Charter. The FDA is holding illegal
meetings with regulatory counterparts in Canada and Mexico via the Trilateral
Cooperation Charter. Through this they are creating one harmonized set of food
and drug regulations as if our country no longer existed, as if we were
already part of a North American Union. A subset of TCC is called the Mexico, US,
Canada Health Fraud Working Group- (MUCH).


This group has issued over 730 warning letters to dietary supplement
manufacturers who manufacture weight loss products in all 3 nations. This is a clear
effort by the FDA to subvert existing US law- the Dietary Supplement Health and
Education Act of 1994. Its part of a planned effort to DECONSTRUCT our
country and to force us into a planned North American Union.


I strongly request that Congress hold oversight hearings on this matter and
that the FDA be stopped from what they are doing. Over 10,400 people have
signed IAHF's petition on this matter, and I am one of them. I am telling everyone
I know about this. I also oppose the Department of Commerce's equally illegal
actions as they too are attempting to deconstruct our nation via the Security
and Prosperity Partnership of North America. These, along with Bush's other
illegal acts serve as ample grounds for impeachment.

Could It Be That All The Problems Are Coincidence?
A couple of days ago The Natural Solutions Foundation sent out an Action Alert telling you that the FDA is at it again. Their "Proposed Guidance on CAM" will classify all natural therapies as "Medical Practices" so only licensed physicians will be able to practice them. Then the supplements and products used in those practices become "untested drugs" which are, in the US and elsewhere, illegal. Not only that, I can tell you as a physician that deviations from "practice guidelines" or "treatment algorithms" are increasingly cause for doctors to have their licenses pulled so few doctors will offer those modalities.

The Comments page , (http://www.democracyinaction.org/dia/organizationsORG/healthfreedomusa/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=7185) I set up for you to use to send your comments electronically to the FDA during the public comment period (which ends on April 30) was working perfectly and, at last count, 11,030 people had sent comments to the FDA using that page.
And then the emails began coming in that said things like, "When I click the "submit" button, I get an 'Error 404' message." and "When I clicked on the link in your email, I got a "Page no longer available" message and similar emails.

On March 14 of this year our site, www.HealthFreedomUSA.org, was "locked" by our hosting company hours after we made it known that the huge number of drug-related deaths which are the leading cause of death in every developed country in the world fit in perfectly with the explicitly stated genocidal agenda of multinational and international organizations from the Council on Foreign Relations to the World Health Organization. Within hours his server and all of his sites were off the Internet because of a concerted, organized and illegal attack on our site and his hosting server. When he took our temporary site down, the attack ceased almost instantly and his sever and sites were back on line within minutes.

More than 11,000 people have responded to our urgent request that they file their objections to this latest FDA end run around DSHEA (the 1994 law which says that supplements and herbs are foods and, as such, are presumed to be safe). Our Action Alert emails on the topic have been widely circulated and people are using this opportunity to create another uproar like the one that prevented Congress from taking away our right to supplements in 1994 and brought us DSHEA!

I think it is reasonable to conclude that our vigorous response and success is not particularly welcome to the FDA and their friends. And that means that we need to intensify our successful response right now! We only have until April 30, 2007 to let the FDA know that We, the People, want our health products, our health freedom and our self determination. The FDA also needs to know that we want Public Hearings on these issues and that we are willing to make our will loud and clear.

You have been doing a great job of sending your comments to the FDA and circulating this information to your circle of influence. It may be hard to take in but if this "Guidance" goes through, there will be no more legal natural health and wellness modalities. There will beno more natural health and wellness products.
Our nutrients, if we are permitted any, will look very much like the low potency, no impact nutrients permitted in Europe under the Codex-Compliant European Food Supplements Directive (using any other nutrients in any other dosages is a crime). Our herbs, if we have any, will look very much like the very, very short list of herbs permitted ONLY FOR TRIVIAL COMPLAINTS in Europe under the European Medicinal Herbal Products Directive (using any other herbs for any other reasons is a crime). In other words, Big Pharma, like Big Brother at the end of George Orwell's chillingly prophetic "1984" will have won.

Please include the makers and sellers of your vitamins, minerals, etc. as well as the practitioners whom you know in your emails. Ask people, practitioners, health food stores, organizations and companies to alert their customers, patients, suppliers, friends, etc. We need millions of responses and we CAN get them if we all work together on this.
Oh, and please, don't forget to write to me to let me know if you have any further problems with the links or the sites. We will fix them if you do.

Actually, I take heart from these attacks: if we were not effective, there would be no need for sabotage!
Remember, the FDA's goal is simple: through a "Guidance" about the regulation of "CAM" (which they conveniently define as "Complementary and Alternative MEDICINE" instead of "Complementary and Alternative Modalities" the FDA hopes to serve the interests of Big Pharma by eliminating all CAM practices and products. ALL of them.
Criminalizing Natural Health
The FDA is using a legal ploy to make all natural health criminal in either one way or another. You can't engage in it if you are not a physician and you cannot use the products even if you are. That's very similar to the laws recently introduced in Australia (5 year prison sentence for using, providing to another person or teaching the use of nutrients) and India (illegal to practice or teach acupuncture, energy healing, sound therapy, etc., etc.). Neither law passed but they will be back in Parliament again. It's the same process: marginalize, then criminalize all competition to the deadly, expensive and oh-so-useful drugs!
